I’ve never been to South Africa. But WOW it looks fucking lovely! The chicks. The Sand. The overabundance of animals. I’m contemplating making a visit.

A beach is a geological landform along the shoreline of a body of water. It usually consists of loose particles which are often composed of rock, such as sand, gravel, shingle, pebbles, or cobblestones. The particles of which the beach is composed can sometimes instead have biological origins, such as shell fragments or coralline algae fragments.

Wild beaches are beaches which do not have lifeguards or trappings of modernity nearby, such as resorts and hotels. They are sometimes called undeclared, undeveloped, undefined, or undiscovered beaches. Wild beaches can be valued for their untouched beauty and preserved nature. They are found in less developed areas such as Puerto Rico, Thailand or Indonesia.

Beaches often occur along coastal areas where wave or current action deposits and reworks sediments.

“Professional” or semi-professional vampire hunters played some part in the vampire beliefs of the Balkans (especially in Bulgarian, Serbian, and Romani folk beliefs). In Bulgarian, the terms used to designate them included glog (lit. “hawthorn”, the species of wood used for the stake), vampirdzhiya,vampirar, dzhadazhiya, svetocher etc.

They were usually either born on Saturday (then called Sabbatarians, Bulgarian sâbotnichav, Greek sabbatianoí) or the offspring of a vampire and a woman (typically his widow), called a dhampir in Romani or a vampirović in Serbian. It was also believed that someone born on a Saturday could see a vampire when it was otherwise invisible^[1][2][3] (and sometimes other supernatural entities as well); similarly for the dhampir. In the case of the Sabbatarians, it was believed in some places that they needed to be fed meat from a sheep killed by a wolf (Bulgarian vâlkoedene); this would enable them not to fear the things that only they were able to see.

In some traditions, the killing of vampires was only performed by vampire hunters. Aside of the well-known manners of execution (staking the corpse, burning it etc) that were normally entrusted to them, the hunters were also capable of using other methods such as enticing the invisible creature with music and then shooting it, or throwing its hat or head-cloth into the water and telling it to go fetch it (which caused it to drown)

I present some stolen info about the Lovely Charisma.

Charisma Lee Carpenter was born on July 23, 1970, and raised in fast-paced Las Vegas, Nevada. Even during her childhood, Charisma was very interested in the performing arts. At the young age of 5, she was already studying classical ballet.

Although Charisma enjoyed living in Las Vegas, her parents decided to move to Mexico when she was 15 years old. It was at this point that Charisma decided to attend the School for Creative and Performing Arts and do the one-hour commute from Mexico to San Diego. After she finally graduated high school, Charisma, like many other young women, decided to tour Europe.

Upon returning to San Diego once again, she began working odd jobs to support herself, such as video store clerk, aerobics instructor and, in 1991, she even spent some time working as a cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers.

Soon after that, Charisma moved to Los Angeles and took up a job as a waitress on Sunset Boulevard. But she wasn’t an aspiring actress at the time; Charisma was saving money so that she could return to school to become an English teacher.

Her fate, however, was headed in a very different direction. While she was working one day, a commercial agent discovered her and recommended that she attend a variety of acting schools. After sorting through all the schools and courses offered, Charisma decided to attend Playhouse West, a reputable acting school.

Because she quickly realized how passionate she was about acting, Charisma remained there for 18 months to study the techniques and drama. While she was still in school, she began doing a multitude of commercials. After approximately 20 of them, she got her first real acting break on Baywatch in 1994.

Almost two years after her guest appearance on the show, Charisma landed a starring role on Aaron Spelling’sMalibu Shores. Unfortunately, the show, which also starred Keri Russell, was short-lived and, once again, Charisma was left without a solid acting job.

But Charisma’s luck was finally about to change. Luckily enough, her agent sent her out to audition for Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 1997. Initially, she tried out for the part of the lead character, Buffy, which ultimately went to Sarah Michelle Gellar. But the producers asked her to try out for the part of Cordelia and, lo and behold, she was picked for the part instantly.

After two years on Buffy, Charisma was offered a co-starring role opposite David Boreanaz on the spin-off showAngel, and she eagerly accepted, even though she would continue to play the same bratty, snobby character.

In the meantime, Charisma appeared in The Groomsmen (2001) and the made-for-TV movie See Jane Date (2003). She also made guest appearances on four episodes of Miss Match with Alicia Silverstone, as well as on Charmedwith Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan.

In June 2004, Charisma took it all off for Play..boy — just the kind of career move we admire.

Regrettably, this is a “look but don’t touch” relationship, as she married her boyfriend of five years, actor Damian Hardy, in October 2002. They had a baby in March 2003 and they currently reside in Los Angeles.

So today you’ll learn about pixels! It’s a great opportunity

Numbers.   A digital color image pixel is just a RGB data value (Red, Green, Blue). Each pixel’s color sample has three numerical RGB components (Red, Green, Blue) to represent the color. These three RGB components are three 8-bit numbers for each pixel. Three 8-bit bytes (one byte for each of RGB) is called 24 bit color. Each 8 bit RGB component can have 256 possible values, ranging from 0 to 255. For example, three values like (250, 165, 0), meaning (Red=250, Green=165, Blue=0) to denote one Orange pixel. Photo editor programs have an EyeDropper tool to show the 3 RGB color components for any image pixel.

In the base 2 binary system, an 8 bit byte can contain one of 256 numeric values ranging from 0 to 255, because 2 to the 8th power is 256, as seen in the sequence 2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256. The 8th of these is 256. This is the same concept in base 10, that 3 decimal digits can store one of 1000 values, 0 to 999.   10 to the 3rd power is 1000, same idea as 2 to the 8th power is 256.

Yeah, right, but the only point here is that 255 is the maximum possible number that can be stored in an 8 bit byte. Larger numbers require multiple bytes, for example two bytes (16 bits) can hold up to 256×256 = 65536 unique values. 24 bit RGB color images use 3 bytes, and can have 256 shades of red, and 256 shades of green, and 256 shades of blue. This is 256x256x256 = 16.7 million possible combinations or colors for 24 bit RGB color images. The pixel’s RGB data value shows “how much” Red, and Green, and Blue, and the three colors and intensity levels will be combined at that image pixel, at that pixel location.

The composite of the three RGB values creates the final color for that one pixel area. In the RGB system, we know Red and Green make Yellow. So, (255, 255, 0) means Red and Green, each fully saturated (255 is as bright as 8 bits can be), with no Blue (zero), with the resulting color being Yellow.

Black is a RGB value of (0, 0, 0) and White is (255, 255, 255). Gray is interesting too, because it has the property of having equal RGB values. So (220, 220, 220) is a light gray (near white), and (40,40,40) is a dark gray (near black). Gray has no unbalanced color cast.

Since gray has equal values in RGB, Black & White grayscale images only use one byte of 8 bit data per pixel instead of three. The byte still holds values 0 to 255, to represent 256 shades of gray.

Line art pixels are represented by only one binary bit with values 0 or 1, used to denote Black or White (2 colors, no gray). Line art data is stored packed 8 bits into one 8-bit byte.
